Mayfest is looking for people who love to sing to be part of a show in this year’s festival.

PASSING is the upcoming short film from Jo Bannon which invites us to pay attention to the barely visible but highly choreographed ways in which we all perform, or pass, on stage and in everyday life.

Mayfest 2022 is just two months away, and we want you to be a part of it – we’re on the lookout for volunteers to join the team and help spread joy throughout Bristol.

Hello and welcome to Mayfest 2024.

We are, as ever, excited and proud to be welcoming this heart-filling gathering of artists from all over the world for what we hope will be a connecting and inspiring time for everyone who chooses to come together over nine days this May.

Do you need to rest throughout the day? Do you have a story to share about resting in public? Commissioned by WDR, we are gathering stories from German speakers based in Europe, to feature in a radio play which will be broadcast in Autumn 2024.

The Emergent Value research project is trying to find out why, and how, live arts events (such as theatre or music performances) are meaningful to people.

A look back on some of the highlights of 2023

Alongside other colleagues across the city, we are hugely disappointed to hear that Bristol City Council are not recommending us for renewed funding for the next three years.

Culminating in a weekend programme of film, photography, live performance and installation 1-3 December, Confluence has been the collaborative effort of four fantastic artists, one of whom is Verity Standen.
