We’re recruiting for a new Finance Lead to join MAYK’s diverse and brilliant Board of Trustees.

Together with the Chair and the Co-Directors, you will help us make sure that MAYK’s board fulfils its responsibilities for the governance of the organisation, taking a lead in ensuring that our strategic finances and financial obligations are met, and helping MAYK’s team to present financial information to the board in a useful, clear way.

MAYK are Bristol-based but this role can be performed remotely and we will consider applicants from anywhere.

Our board meets four times per year, plus four finance sub-committee meetings. You would also be expected to work with the Co-Directors in advance of each meeting to make sure that all papers are accurate and ready to share with the rest of the board, and to be available on an ad-hoc basis throughout the year for advice.

Please note: this is a voluntary position. Travel and access expenses will be covered by MAYK.

MAYK’s mission is to make important, unexpected, revelatory work with visionary artists that changes our experience of the world and each other. If you have accounting and finance experience and would like to be part of a team of clever, curious individuals supporting us to do so, then this could be the role for you.

Deadline for submissions: December 2
