What is the climate cost of keeping me well?

What is the climate cost of disability justice?

How can we square this with the disproportionate harm done to disabled people by a warming world?

C’mon in, the water’s lovely is an expansive new work by visual artist Aidan Moesby and theatre maker Daniel Bye.

The project explores questions of interconnectedness, climate and health justice through multiple art forms reaching out to one another across formal boundaries. Challenging our conceptions of care, resilience and the burdensome notion of wellbeing.

C’mon in, the water’s lovely had its first public sharing at SIRF in August, taking the form of an installation set in an Antarctic research station. The ambition is for this project to manifest as a mid-scale performance work for the public realm. Development for this next phase will take place through 2023.
